She received over 400 resumes, auctioned 100, and hired 40 actresses to read her book all over Manhattan. This is guerrilla marketing at its best. People took notice of the infectious laughing billboards. And asked the winning question What are you reading? A clever publicity campaign that encourages the public to laugh out loud and to start talking to one other.
