This is exactly the kind of art-based installations I would love to see more of in Seattle. Where you walk into the exhibition and feel like you are now part of the installation. Where your personal bubble overlaps with the art itself. Not to mention this is a beautiful merge of the art and design worlds.
Transversale 2009 offers a full program (Feb.–Jun.) on the interface between art and design. Contributions of no less than ten organizations in Dortmund results in a wide range of objects and installations by artists, designers, craftsmen, and students exploring the boundaries where art meets design and design meets art.
