New Client—Ayni Education International

Ayni is building a future for girls amid war in Afghanistan.

Their main project a Journey with an Afghan School, is a grassroots project between America and Afghanistan that began just months after 9/11. Founded by Seattle human-rights lawyer, Julie Bolz, they have helped build and equip 19 new schools and repair more than a dozen others in northern Afghanistan. Those schools, now operated by the Afghan Ministry of Education, serve nearly 25,000 students, most of whom are girls.

Ayni is not simply interested in building schools. We want to build bridges of understanding and mutual respect between Afghans and Americans. Each of the Afghan schools is connected to a community in the United States.

Blank Space is excited to create a new visual brand and website to build awareness about the great work Ayni Education International is doing, and how their work impacts our global community.
