Have you always wanted to design a snowboard? Here’s your chance, and it is for a good cause! SOS Outreach, K2 Snowboarding, and Design within Reach in Seattle are putting on a snowboard design contest: Design the Modern Board. The winner gets a K2 board with their own custom topsheet! SOS Outreach provides all of the details and necessary logos.
Deadlines: Intent to submit—March 19th, Artwork to DWR—April 2nd, 10am
Judging Event: Saturday, April 3rd $12 donation, Tutta Bella pizza, Jones soda, raffle, and DJ!
Riley and I had a lot of fun at the unveiling party last year. This was my favorite design, submitted by Jay Dokken from Design Commission. Clever design that fit perfectly at the Design Within Reach studio in Seattle. Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with this year!
