Current TV: The Social Something or Other for Youth

If Current TV has ever gotten any bad press, I ain’t seen it. Current TV is smart, edgy, hip, social, provocative, cutting-edge, bold, and let’s all hope… sexy. It seems like part of the deal for eating it in 2000 was that the media would forever give Al Gore glowing reviews for anything he did, ever. Plus, they would quit calling him fat.

Well, now Current TV has a new identity and guess what? It is getting glowing reviews.
I am shocked.

Current TV Identity

Current’s first idea was to be like the internet but edgy and on cable. That failed and now they have a new idea. A cable channel for youth with Keith Olbermann, cause the kids love cable news networks. They should have renamed themselves MSMTV.
