Street art in Rio de Janeiro (+ around the world)



Throughout Rio de Janiero there is an abundance of quality street art. Largely, in the form of painted murals and graffiti. Of course, like any urban area, they have their fair share of typical tags. We walked past this wall on our way to the Jardim Botanico (Botanical Gardens). It must have been a mile long, the cement wall saturated with a collage of artists’ expressions.


No matter where you are in the world people are looking for ways to express themselves. This post by 2ExpertsDesign captures some amazing artwork—55 Unbelievable Examples of Graffiti Artworks Around the World (their first image is also from Rio).
