Stereo equipment was the best in the 70s. It was big, heavy, and covered in wood grain. When I need a piece of stereo equipment I go to the thrift stores and buy the heaviest thing I can find. Hopefully it’s a Marantz and covered in luscious wood texture. When I first got the iPad I immediately saw the potential for it to jive with our vintage stereo. A quick trip to the Quality Food Center and I returned with a full roll of wood grain contact paper, only $6.99. After a little time and X-acto magic and I had created the 1970s iPad.
Plus, I still have enough contact paper left to cover the PT Cruiser from top to bottom.
