I made this strawberry torte yesterday, it is beautiful and delicious. The cake is Alton Brown’s Chiffon Cake recipe and I got a great whipped cream tip from the fine folks at Smitten Kitchen. Add some gelatin to your whipped cream and it will stand tall for days.
I think Chiffon Cake is my new favorite dessert name. It just sounds so bourgeois. Like Chanel, Versace, or Ferrari, mmmmmmm.
