These adorable snails are getting hitched!

Our good friends Phil and Lauren are getting married this summer. Lauren loves snails and gave us a drawing with snails and ferns. Riley transformed the drawing into a playful wedding invitation. They were silk screened with three colors on Pop Tone Lemon Drop from French Paper. I think they turned out incredibly cute and fun for a summer wedding.

And those new sneakers he wants? Yeah, they’re at Marqsmen too. Commence operation Quirky Window Display. Look, ten thousand Facebook friends does not a thriving small business make. The retail jungle eats fashion boutiques for breakfast. OMG! . . . Suddenly, a common kitchen item is brought forward to strut its stuff before the unforgiving Gods of hip. In all its iconic glory, the homely yet dignified aluminum foil turned heads. Texts were sent, cards were maxed, and they all lived happily ever after.

Here is our first draft for Seattle’s National Park Family Day. (Sans all of the sponsor logos.) I am sure it will evolve. I think it would look great silk screened. Maybe we’ll have to get our silk screening set-up going soon!

Clans of the notoriously skittish Northwest Homo-Sapien were invited to shake off their cabin fever and roam wild for an afternoon at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Luring them in with free admission and inventive graphics influenced by the region’s topography, the Northwest National Parks were provided a few moments with each unit’s Alpha. Environmental groups such as the National Park Conservation Association know that with each smile and friendly exchange vitality of our country’s irreplaceable national parks is ensured for future generations. Educational activities for the children and guided tours fostered a communal atmosphere, turning new patrons into park regulars.
