In the Summer of 2009, Ben was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma cancer. As an athlete, entrepreneur, father and husband, Ben is notoriously strong-willed and charismatic — hence his nickname, “Firestorm.” The climb to this top of this summit, however, will be a particularly difficult one. Conceived by friends and family as a rallying point during his hardship.
